Usage

API:

Get Spoonacular's API key here: https://rapidapi.com/user/spoonacular/package/Recipe%20-%20Food%20-%20Nutrition/pricing Add API key to config.js and Heroku's config variables Be mindful of your API rate limit

Database:

Install mLab as your production database: https://elements.heroku.com/addons/mongolab

Development

Installing Dependencies

From within the root directory:

npm install
npm install request --save

Roadmap

The project roadmap:

Phase 1: Search by budget & servings, and filter by cuisines, diets, & meal types Phase 2: Search by existing ingredients, allow users to login/logout and favoriting recipes Phase 3: Get suggestions on where to purchase ingredients with price comparisons Phase 4: Eat better, for less
