errors when downloading gpx (not necessarily due to MapSwitcher code)

When downloading a gpx, the download works fine.

But the following error occurs in the dev console:

No such errors have been seen under MapSwitcher for Chrome, using identical downloading code.

Web searches suggest that similar errors occur with code unrelated to add-ons:
