Cities with accents or tildes are not correct encoded. Cities like São Paulo - Brazil.

Is this a binary file? I can't get python to open it.

Hi David FYI, I parsed your CountriesToCitiesJSON to XML. I tried to download the JSON file, but it was to big. I received it as a text file and converted this into XML. The XML file has 86360 rows of data and can be shown on my github repos.

I'm on python I can't get the encoding right with utf to byte code :(

You have Mozambique listed as one of the cities of the country Mozambique, which is incorrect.
There is no city named Mozambique in Mozambique

countriesToCities.zip

Special characters of German cities are broken (ü,ä).

"Osnabrück" is "Osnabrück"
"Garching bei München" is "Garching bei Munchen"
"Lübeck" is "Lübeck"

Python tells me this is an invalid JSON object. Any ideas?

Thanks for this list, I am curious, where did you get the data? I mean, I want to evolution this to an API and make sure that is possible with your permission.

There is not a license file/note too.
