eca-urban-resilience-after-climate-shocks's Issues

Exploratory Analysis

The objective of this issue is to conduct an exploratory analysis of the mobility data to gain initial insights and identify potential trends or patterns. This analysis will serve as a foundation for further research and deeper investigations into specific areas of interest, into various aspects of human behavior, transportation patterns, and urban dynamics.

This presents an opportunity to revisit and refine this work.

Türkiye seems to stand out, but Bosnia and Herzegovina and North Macedonia could be good candidates (and Croatia isn't even available).

Mobility Data Sample Sizes

For our new urban space usage index project, please find below a list of the subset of cities where there is both a World Bank urban climate resilience project /and/ a record of a recent natural disaster. The next step is to identify the 2-3 cities from this list that have the most robust sample sizes (and ones with smaller sizes but may still be worth pursuing for other reasons).

Could you prepare a table that shows:

  • Country
  • City
  • Urban Population
  • Event Type
  • Event Dates
  • Outlogic Sample Size for Event Year (Average Monthly/Daily Active Users)
  • Veraset Sample Size for Event Year (Average Monthly/Daily Active Users)
