1. Programmed the PIC with the UART code example from Microchip site. Using 
12MHz Crystal in HS+PLL mode clocked to 80MHz.
2. Tried to enter programming mode over Arduino JTAG --> failure
3. Needs to MCHP_ERASE and power cycle before successfully enters programming 
(serial execution) mode (i.e. EJTAGBOOT)

What I am seeing is that when the Arduino lets go of reset after EJTAGBOOT 
command, the PIC restarts the application code instead of entering serial 
execution mode. Don't know why this happens and have not found any other 
solution than MCHP_ERASE for now.

Did not see this happen while the PIC was loaded with simpler program using 
internal oscillator.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Install program on Arduino 
2. Run program

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see nothing

Please provide any additional information below.
I placed a serial print just before 'Pic32JTAGDevice pic32;' and it printed to 
serial.  Placing a serial print just after 'Pic32JTAGDevice pic32;' fails to 
send text to serial.  I have tried in Arduino Terminal and Putty.  I'm using 
Windows 8 and Uno Rev. 2.
