blueretrowebcfg's Issues

would you like people to contribute presets for games?

for example jet force gemini for the n64 has a unique control scheme that functions way better with a custom config.

a/b -> r-bumper/left bumper ( weapon change/interact)

c^ (jump) -> a

left/right trigger -> r/z (target and shoot)

cv (prone) -> b

i forked, so i might fiddle and if you want i can make some JSONs.

Default bindings

i was wondering if we should do default bindings for the consoles.

for example once the blueretro is preset to jet force gemini and i want to play mario party or mario 64 it would help to have a "default" preset.

I'm looking to improve the web interface

I wanted to throw some ideas around

so far i have added a second input selection box for "console"

this filters the list by console which i have added to the map JSON files

eg:

{
"name":"N64 Tony Hawk 1, 2 & 3",
"desc":"A & C-Down and B & C-Left share the same source.",
"console":"N64",
"map":[mappings]
}

this allows for any new type of console and game to be added without having a massively cluttered list

Reworking BlueRetroWebCfg into a React app

Hi there, I wasn't really sure how to bring this up, but I am working on a mobile friendly version of this project as a react app. so far I have been able to get the core functionality of everything except the advanced config section (still working on it) to work. I am also learning React as I go along so the styling and layout is probably going to change drastically.

you can see my progress here: https://github.com/delislej/blueretroreactapp
and a live usable version that updates when I push to github here:
https://meek-malasada-2ff42e.netlify.app/

I still have lots of work to do in terms of UI/UX work but it is a fun project so far
