Wasp is an MVC framework that balances Speed and Power to make a perfect platform for building small apps and REST Api's, It leverages Symfony and Doctrine to create a reliable and familiar structure from which to build and maintain your apps.
We provide a framework that focuses on testing and stability, while still trying to make it easy for developers to actually create applications. We dont like re-inventing the wheel, and so we make use of popular components from the Symfony framework and Doctrine ORM.
Wasp provides the base functionality that is available in the Symfony framework, we have added extra functionality to help speed up the development process. First and foremost Wasp is an unbloated small framework that is easy to use and easy to test.
Wasp is still currently in development, although we have a released version 0.1.x, we advise that you dont use this for a production site currently, however if you want to be active in the development and bug finding process then you can install this now:
composer create-project wasp/core
We are currently working on our documentation website. You can look through the tests, or take a look at the Core repository for examples of how to start using Wasp.
Sure, make an issue on github so we know what you're doing and make a pull request.
