esp32energymonitor's Issues

It will not read the third phase. Real Power and Power Factor

Greetings, I am very pleased with the project you made.
I have a problem with reading Power Factor P3 and Real Power P3 is always 0.00, P1 and P2 print values normally.
I must mention that Apparent Power P3 and Current P3 also print values normally.
I am afraid that this affects the Total Real Power so that the Monthly and Daily Consumption are incorrect.
How could I solve this problem?

Not LOGS

Hi! I have this problem I trying to LOGS!

Calibration of SCT013 current sensor

The calibration program is supposed to calculate CI1 etc. values. But what are these factors in real world? Is it a power factor of calibrated load?

Illogical calculation.!?

Screenshot_20230325-145224
what bothers me is that the total current is 4.7A and the total real power is only 362w. is that formula for calculating power a bit messy, I think that with 4A current the real power should be at least 1000w.
the code has not been modified, it is original as you wrote it.

Is the offset of 2.5V not an issue

Hi Dan , Great readme, I'm about to build this, I've been running on an arduino mega for years. I was just wondering if you'd tried using 3.3V as the Vcc onto the zmpt101b to get the voltage centred correctly around 1.666V , or doesn't it really matter ? it seems to use an LM358 which has a min Vcc of 3V so it might work even though the datasheet for the zmpt101b says 5-30V . Just seems a shame to lose such a big chunk of the ADC resolution.

Use only voltaje meter?

Hello, first, great work!!

Is possible to use only voltaje meter, no current? I have 3 phases.

Thanks.

ESP8266

Good day, Daniel!
Can I use this code with 8266 module (such as Node MCU or Wemos module)?

I want to use ACS712

Hey, First of all very great work .....thanks for this.

But I wanted to ask you if it is possible to make this using ACS712 current sensor. If yes, then can you please tell me what connections should i make as I am having a hard time in figuring it out as it has completely different pins and input then the one used by you.

PJ-307 pinout

Remember - there are no stupid questions. Mine is "where do I connect a)GPIO35 and b)the convergence of the 2 main resistors+ the positive side of the capacitor?" I understand that GPIO35 connects to "tip" and the other side to "sleeve" and I know what that is (I think) on the SCT013, but which of the 5 tabs on the PJ-307 are they? The pinouts I've seen - Ali Express for example - number them 1 (looks like sleeve) then 5-4 (normally closed) and 3-2 (normally closed). With plug inserted, I would think tip would be 5 (or 2) since it would disconnect from 4 (or 3)
PJ-307

I have tried different combinations with no luck; possibly have messed everything up already. I tested the voltage divider circuit with a multimeter and it seems okay. I am only using the basic ESPHome configuration for CT clamp - I notice you referenced this in issue #1 "Using without voltage meter". I have the ZMPT101B but wanted to see if I can get the CT clamp to work first. Also, I have the 0-1V output sensor so I don't have the burden resistor in the schematic. I have tried each of the 2 SCT013s I got from Ali; I can't test with a multimeter because the AC voltage range is too high (200VAC) but I seem to get voltage between all 3 contacts (tip/ring/sleeve).
The picture of your wiring looks like
Thanks in advance for your help and indulgence. I appreciate the time you took to share your project with the community

Warning "ADC_BITS"

I encountered this problem. I don't know if there is a solution or not.
