A web application that displays all the avaliable Emojis across Github. This application displays the entire GitHub Emoji API and serves it so you can see them and search through them quickly and easily. Built using React to improve speeds.

This app demonstrates knowledge of:

  • Github & Markdown syntax
  • Javascript & ES6+ Syntax
  • React
  • End to end testing with Jest
  • Event Listeners
  • Lifecycle Methods
  • API Calls using fetch
  • Passing functions as props for prop drilling
  • Sending callbacks to other components

  4. run npm install

Development Testing

  • Development testing is scripted through Jest
  • To run tests, simply run npm test

Coming Shortly

  • Add tag support for the emojis in order to improve search.
  • Add ordering support for the emojis.
