This is easily fixed by replacing all instances of ser.write("string") with ser.write(b"string"). I can open a PR for it soon.

Discord invite in README appears expired.

I'm seeing up to a 5 second delay between hitting the button and the mute or unmute occurring. Is there a way to reduce this delay?

I've spent an hour fixing bugs in the compiling of the Windows .ino file. I'm still not done. This is total bullshit. Can't believe I wasted my time with this. Repurposing this Arduino UNO for CANBUS acquisition.

The README doc does not provide instructions to install pySerial, so the Mac program does not work.
Tested with master code.
