wormy-py's Issues

Add logic incorrect

BUG:

When a body section is added the direction of the worm head is used to determined its location. This is incorrect - the new tail should use the direction of the old/current tail to determined its location.

For example:

If direction is RIGHT then changes to UP if a collision occurs with an apple while some of the body is still moving RIGHT then the new body section should be added to the LEFT of the tail. However, what actually happens is the new section is added DOWN from the tail (as the head direction is UP).

Possible solution?

Direction needs to be a property of each body section - when a new tail is added the direction of the old tail is used to determined the placement.
