arch-guide's Issues

more services and packages for a minimal yet suite workstation

Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป

TLDR;

please have a review of pkglist.txt and services.txt files from my repo ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป.

Long story

I've been searching for a complete arch linux post-installation guide and I've found your awesome website which was very useful for me. also I was working on gathering some useful/required packages and services to bring a fresh arch linux install to reliable and stable workstation for myself. I've been a distro hopper for a long time and I'm sick and tired of testing each and every distro out there, so I come to arch and want to make a minimal yet powerful install for my need but I love to see if this could help any other Arch lover as well.

Security Firewall

Hi!

First of all, thank you so much for this beast of a guide!!! It helped me a lot even the arch install guide is a beast as well. I wanted to ask if you have a default firewall setup as well or some recommendation beside the arch wiki :)

Looking forward for you answer. And thank you for your awesome work done here!!

Missing uncomment in GRUB configuration (?)

Hey,
I'm not sure rn but could be the possibility that the configuration

GRUB_ENABLE_CRYPTODISK=y

is missing in the encryption guide?

The comment above states that it'll enabling booting from LUKS encrypted devices, but I'm not entirely sure if it's required.

Or could it be that the uncomment isn't necessary because /dev/sdXY isn't encrypted if I understood it right.
