Examples should be able to be named anything!
When trying to create an example named tooltip-html.md
, the examples script replaces the html
in the string when creating the support files.
@davelandry I am trying to port part of what I did for the govt to d3plus (since I cannot compile d3plus 1)
npm install
returns this after cloning this repo again today:
npm WARN deprecated [email protected]: The sprintf package is deprecated in favor of sprintf-js.
npm WARN deprecated [email protected]: 'github' has been renamed to '@octokit/rest' (https://git.io/vNB11)

Tests written with generator functions that render elements are not being run by zora. For example, the test for TextBox in d3plus-text is not being run. These tests always pass, even when they should fail.
The tests should run and zora should report failing tests.
The tests are not being run and are reported as passing by zora, even when they are failing.
assert.equal(true, false);
npm test
recently saw that celery uses a .png
logo image in it's shell scripts. would be neat to use one in the bin scripts!
Right now, the documentation shows how many variables a function accept, and if they are required or not.
The variables in the documentation website should include the types expected by the functions. Additionally, I suggest to change the format for optional variables from [value]
to value?

from d3plus/d3plus#625:
IE11 not supporting string.includes
Some of the demos does not work well on IE11, e.g.
https://d3plus.org/examples/d3plus-hierarchy/selecting-container/it seems like the issue is String not supporting method 'includes'.
Releases should only occur from master
. The internal d3plus-release
script should detect the working branch before continuing.
Currently, it's possible to run a release from a feature branch, which I did accidentally in d3plus-network
(I am not a smart man).
