Given that we only need the sqladmin credentials, and we only need it for Tier 2+, would it be fair to say we only need the -SqlAdminPwd, and that is all we need? All the rest can be harvested if one can access the information from within the environment?

If we know for sure what the -SqlAdminUsr value is on all Tier 2+ environments, then we truly only the -SqlAdminPwd stored.
And for personal machines, the option to store a URL :)
from d365fo.tools.
For Tier2 environments. if we want to be able to stop services across the network, we need to store the BI specific credentials aswell.
A format could be that we store Username / Password per computer. When ever D365Environment cmdlets executes against a computer it should validate it the computer has credentials stored.
