Poker Kata

This project was a personal exercise to learn the Groovy programming language. It's mostly based on CodingDojo's Kata Poker Hands problem. All input is trusted, so the data is not validated.

Prerequisites

This project requires a Java Development Kit v1.5 or newer and the Gradle build system to compile the source code.

Building

First, download the latest and greatest source code:

git clone git://github.com/d-rep/poker-kata.git

You can build the code and run the tests with the following commands:

cd poker-kata
gradle clean build --daemon

Editing

If you want to open the source code inside of the vim editor, with each file in a separate tab, simply type the following:

cd poker-kata
gvim -S
