When power mode is set to “Performance” after pc reboot or shutdown setting goes back default “Power Save”

Sound settings usually picks devices as default wrong ones, and there is no way in settings to set which one currently want to use.

Add a setting for adding keyboard layouts and switching layouts.

That you can draw or upload a specific file (image files) to make them your cursor! they can even be add to the themes section

please add features for three-finger gestures support like elementary distribution or gnome 40.

There is no Wi-Fi device in the VM, but the settings window shows a "Wired Connection" inside the WLAN frame:

Each time when I enter my cutefish desktop again, the resolution is set back to 1024x768. I can reset it to for example 1920x1080 and it works flawlessly, but the setting was not saved.

As a temp solution please describe how to disable autologin using config files

feature：

1.After turning off the Bluetooth option in the setting, turn it on again, and the settings window will be closed.
2.Use the terminal to open cutefish-settings and enter the Bluetooth option. The window shows that Bluetooth is turned on, but there is no Bluetooth device list, and the terminal does not have any information about Bluetooth.

other：

Three devices turn on Bluetooth and wait for the link.
The bluetooth.service of the pc has been started
no error message is seen when executing systemctl status bluetooth.
The bluetooth device is not locked after executing rfkill list

Based on some feedback we had after doing our CutefishDE spin, some think we are developing another distro. Maybe add a more generic approach in About window about CutefishOS. It is fine to call it as it when it is really CutefishOS. What do you think?

Would be great if the OS comes with built in on-screen keyboard because we can't install a third-party keyboard because we might not have a working physical keyboard to start with.

It would be great to have gestures like Windows/MacOS

when i use chromium i have to use up and down keys for scroll please add the feature of double finger scrolling.

brightness slider on setting works fine but setting slider on start always when loading setting. This feature is on topbar status area quick setting too.

sometimes touchpad stop working.i have to restart my laptop everytime it stop working

Description:

please add an option for invert scroll in settings

As of now (0.4) there's no way to adjust audio neither on settings, nor on panel.

first of all, you have made a fantastic distribution and desktop environment. please consider my bug report and feature request.
Even though I adjust the pointer speed in the trackpad it increases to 100% after reboot every time.

After setting turn screen off after 10 minutes, even 5 even 2, it auto locks and never turns black. Stays like this indefinitely

Under the "Appearance tab", neither of the two big selectors ("Theme" and "Accent color") seem to be responding to input. No change is applied to the system and the switches stay in the same position.
The dark mode button that pop up when you click on the battery doesn't work either.
I'm using Arch with kernel version 5.15.2

I use a VPN constantly on my laptop, so it would be nice if the network settings included an option for it.
There's a networkmanager plugin for openvpn, so only a GUI interface would be needed (it works on Ubuntu and I think KDE by default)

It would be very useful to be able to alt + tab to switch between apps.

Ideally matching the simple gnome way of doing it with just icons and mouse hover to select.

It would look amazing in this UI.

A tab dedicated to keyboard shortcuts will be awesome as currently we can't change our keyboard shortcuts, even worse we can't create keyboard shortcuts at all.

It's not present in other setting tabs, though. Perhaps it attempted to show something here?

The fonts does not scale properly compare to rest of it.

KWin already has that functionality, we just have to implement a settings and an indicator at the status bar to quickly toggle it.

It would be amazing to be able to hide or completely remove the dock in the settings.

This of course, would only be if you could access the launcher with the super key.

Plugin does not provide valid KScreen backend

When you change display settings in any other desktop environment, you get a prompt like "Does it look good? Save or revert" and always default to revert. This is a must-have because you may result in a broken display setting combination and not able to restore.

Whenever I reboot my PC my display resolution gets reset to 3840x2160 and I have to change it manually everytime back to 1920x1080. This is not the case in other desktop enviroments. Please fix it.

Hotcorners are good like hover top-left to display an overview of all apps, but it is not configurable.

Please add settings to configure it just like KDE.

In this case, the machine has no wireless adapter and no battery. These two tabs could be hidden since they are useless to the user.

(The refresh icon inside the wireless tab is spinning, causing more confusion)
