setup.py clean does not clean up everything? about cupy HOT 3 CLOSED

Ah, I could rebuild well with instructions as:

$ python setup.py clean --all
$ python setup.py develop

I will write about this on Development section of README.

Well, hmm, it was wrong. python setup.py clean --all did not work well.

I found a work around such as:

$ find . -name '*.cpp' | xargs rm
$ find . -name '*.so' | xargs rm
$ python setup.py develop

Note that rebuilding all of files take time too much.

I asked to okuta-san, and it looks the problem is because of cython.
He said he usually does git clean -fdx to remove everything after modifying pxd files.

Also, he suggested to use ccache to build faster.
(Also, he noted ccache caches gcc, but does not cache nvcc compiler)
