Well, a redstone torch placed next to a TNT block does not ignite it, maybe it's just with torches?

Redstone torches only give power to wires/repeaters next to them. They don't give power to other blocks next to them.

Its just becouse redstone isn't correctly implemented becouse its realy hard to implement it exacly like vanilla.
