kill-kube-ns

Kill a Kubernetes namespace/OpenShift project which is stuck in the state of "Terminating".

This scripts automates the steps suggestes by some people on the comments of the issue.

Note: Use at your own risk! It works for me though.

Usage

./kill-kube-ns myproject

Note: You will need to be logged in to your cluster, and have the necessary permissions. Make sure that your port 8001 is available.

Pre-requisites

Your will need to have the following things installed:

jq
kubectl

kill-kube-ns's Issues

Cannot iterate over null

./kill-kube-ns cattle-global-data
jq: error (at <stdin>:63): Cannot iterate over null (null)

kubectl get ns                   
NAME                                     STATUS        AGE
cattle-global-data                       Terminating   22d

Permission denied

When I change to root and run "./kill-kube-ns myns",the result shows that "-bash: ./kill-kube-ns: Permission denied".
How can I resolve this ?
