The examples that you guys are using for RCOS doesn't belong in the repository. The reason we have the tests section is to test basic functionality, and later on for unit tests, not to be used as a demo.

Tried under cygwin using builtin g++ as well as mingw

As of writing this mingw does not support std::thread properly failing with error: ‘thread’ is not a member of ‘std’

The built in g++ has similar issues.

Can't use zeromq as planned because of the inability to determine origin of messages as needed for the project. Need alternative, right now looks like custom messaging is best.

Because of the use of templates to keep things consistent I am going to make this a header only library.

There is not much need for the node manager if we move the messenger ownership to the population. Not sure if the separation should be there or not.

Ring communication scheme. Each node will communicate with at most 2 other nodes, will be a ring communication pattern.
