An app where you can collaborate with your roommate(s) to make lists of items you plan to bring to your college dorm room or apartment. Users can indicate items they already have and items they have yet to get. Users could request a roommate to bring an item from the list. Users could enter the prices of the items needed to be purchased and the program could assign them to different roommates, so each is spending roughly the same amount.

As a User, when I tap on a gas station listed in the map view, I should see a link in the modal that will take me to my desired navigation application, prefilling the address inside of this application.

An app that lets users (virtually) go to the Sun, various planets, and asteroids in our solar system. It would open on an overall model outlining planetary orbits and points of interest. Visiting one of these objects would bring up more information about them (Size, position, gravity, movement speed, rotational speed, composition, temperature, etc.). Users would be able to compare this data of two to four of them as well. The program could even include nearby galaxies, stars, and nebulas. Another feature could be different wavelength perspectives (infrared, ultraviolet, radio, optical, x-ray).

As a swimmer I want the weightlifting exercises to push the muscle groups I use for my main stroke so that I can swim my main stroke faster.

This program would help masons with their daily math and calculations. It would be able to calculate block orders if given each walls specification such as number of courses, length of the wall, how many courses of 6-inch block on top (and the inspectors required min distance between anchor bolts). Along with the measurements for the windows and doors in the house. There would be a square calculator where you enter two lengths and it gives you the hypotenuse length required to be square. There would also be a cement calculator could calculate the yards of concrete needed for any pour given the length, width, and depth.

As a student, I want the app to display the times of the bus's arrival and departure time of the week so that I don't have to wait so long for the arrival and I can plan ahead.

This application would serve to have a single calendar for all clubs at CSBSJU. This calendar would include locations of club events. Club organizers would be able to schedule events. Students would be able to search for events. CSBSJU would also be given notifications about events, so if an event included catering, the catering department would be given a notification.

Create a website called "Coaches Corner" where Coaches for sports teams can keep all their information. The app will allow coaches to keep track of attendance at practices. The app will alert the coach if the number of absences goes over a number set by the coach. The coach can also keep plays, formations, and who is playing what position for games as well as edit them and resave them. The app will also have a calendar and contact list that gets shared to the athletes to keep track of information.

As an events employee, I want to be notified about where and when to set up events for clubs so that I can have all of my work orders made for me.

This would be an app that lists which buses are available throughout either CSB or SJU as well as their times on when they arrive and are expected to leave. The user will be able to select one bus location and will be shown not only the times but also the route the bus will take and how long it will take to arrive at the destination. There would also be an indicator that tells the user when the bus time has changed from its normal frequency pattern.

As a club member, I want to receive updates on events my club is hosting, so I can plan to attend.

Create an app the finds gas stations around the user and displays their current gas prices. It will have a notification system so the user can setup a target price and distance, and the app will send a notification when a gas station meets their criteria. It will display all of the gas stations on a map similar to navigation maps, and the user can click on a given gas station to show information like their address, hours of business, and a link to get directions in their chosen navigation app.

An app for android or I-phones that gives the user swim workouts and weightlifting workouts. This would depend on the times the swimmer wants to get, their main stroke and a secondary stroke, along with their current average times. The average times would be re- calculated every two weeks and the workout times would be modified. This would allow each swimmer to get a more personalized workout to focus on the muscle groups they use for their stroke and the endurance or speed they need whether for distance or sprints. The weightlifting side of the app would focus on muscle groups the swimmer uses for their main strokes and would require the swimmers to enter the weight they use at each lift and give them suggested weights to use next time at different reps. (this app could be expanded to include different sports too

As a mason I want a volume calculator so that I can more precisely order cement.

As a swimmer I want the times of the sets to adapt to my times as I get further into the season so that I am consistently pushing myself.

Create an app for Android and iPhone that prevents overspending money when travelling. Users enters the total budget for the trip, as well as how much they plan to spend on food, entertainments, hotels, and other expenses. The app also contains a currency converter. Users enter the amount (in local currency) spent for every purchase and the app sends notifications when 50% of budget (for each type of expenses) is spent, then 75%, and 90%. The app regularly sends Users tips to save money and sends every week an overview of what they spent in a week.

Create an application for automating housing for summer groups at Saint John's. You can take a list of residence along with who they want to room with or near and have their housing automatically assigned. This application would also have a map of each residential building; showing what rooms are open and who is in the occupied rooms. This would also allow for manual manipulation of housing to allow residents who suddenly arrive to be easily added to the housing list. This Application would also help keep track of keys, having a box by each guests' name indicating what key(s) they have.

Create an app that...

Create an app called "Social Hour" for calendars where people can put their class schedules, practice schedules, and events in the calendar. You can then friend other people and will get their schedule. You will be able to know if people are in class or available, and where they are. One functionality would also be to find time when a group of selected friends are all free! You can get reminders of when events are coming up and how long it will take you to get there so you will know what time to leave to be on time.

As a user, I want a favorites menu, so that I can return to planets I find the most interesting.

Create an app that would allow you to read stories or books that you would need for school. While reading, you can change the background color to either black or white to help ease the tension on the eyes. The user can also tell how far they are in reading by looking at a bar that expands the further they read. The reader can bookmark the page to return to it later and highlight or comment anywhere in the text.

As a student, I want to look up club events and find their locations so that I can more easily be involved.

An app that will assist in the organization of clubs on campus. Currently, the best way to get information about a large number of clubs in a short period of time is to attend the involvement fair and speak with each club. However, this only occurs once a year and does not fit all schedules. This app would provide a designated platform for clubs to reach out to prospective members as well as inform current members on upcoming events and other info. New students will be able to browse through existing clubs to see if any are of interest to them.
