A tool for working with SQLite databases. SQLite has some
idiosyncrasies and limitations that impose some hurdles to the R
developer. For instance, SQLite doesn’t have a date type and
sqliteutils has some functions to deal with that
You can install the released version of sqliteutils from CRAN with:
install.packages("sqliteutils")SQLIte does not have a date type. When you insert dates in a SQLIte
table using DBI::dbWriteTable(), for instance, they are converted to a
numeric value.
Using slu_date_to_r() you can convert the value back to the original
date.
