Right now only png's are supported. It would be great to have other image file types supported as well.

Looking through the code, it seems like it would be pretty easy to add JPG support. Is there a reason it is only restricted to PNG? If not, I might submit a pull request at some point. I'm a little swamped currently, but should be doable eventually.

Firstly thank you for creating the handy tools that eases the tasks of resource/asset management.

Here is the issue that I am getting into. The resource path is App_Resources/Android and App_Resources/iOS for Android and iOS respectively and are case sensitive for MacOS. However, the script looks for App_Resources/android and App_Resources/ios and cannot find the path and it fails.

If I change the resource folder to use lower case like App_Resources/android and App_Resources/ios the image generator works fine but the build fails. Is there something I am missing? Any help is appreciated.

The 'tns' command automatically adds platforms when the 'tns run' command is issued. A lot of the workflow includes removing the platforms folder periodically for cleanup purposes. Using this plugin would require adding another step to scripts to first add a platform, then run or debug the project. Would be good to have the plugin execute at a different stage of the hooks, perhaps.

After installing the plugin I ran my project using ``tns run ios`. Unfortunately teh console shows this error:
