🚧🏗️ I’ve worked at: Block/Square, Let’s Encrypt/ISRG, Fastly, Leviathan Security Group, & the Carleton Computer Security Lab. I helped make ACME and I’ve contributed to free software like Boulder, Nixpkgs, ZLint, and Streisand.

🕰️🦀 Recently: I've been learning Rust and contributing to the Rustls ecosystem.

Integration test

Utilize Nix containers to spin up an ACME Crab container, a Lego container, and a Pebble container. It should be possible to use the Lego container to issue a certificate from the Pebble container by fulfilling DNS-01 challenges with the ACME Crab container.

CI speedup

It's too slow. Probably need to cache nix store state.

Field testing

Deploy ACME Crab and use it to issue production certificates. Wait for at least one successful renewal of these certificates. Document any road bumps encountered along the way.

Unit tests

Now that the design/code has stablized unit test coverage is required.

NixOS module

The Nix flake should expose a module that can set up an ACME Crab configuration JSON file and a systemd service.
