covid-tracking-dash's Issues

Plot suggestion

I'd really think it is useful if we could see a % of positive tests each day based on the total number of tests being conducted. I did this for one state and the data was erratic but I think it will be helpful in the long run and will help normalize the data as the amount of testing increases.
Currently it's hard to tell how the infections are spreading or if it's just an increase in testing. It's both of course but we need to a way to normalize it.

Negative negative counts?

March 30 data for MT and WI show negative daily totals for negative test results (meaning negativeIncrease < 0). Is that an error or a recount from earlier days, or something else?

Per 100k values may be incorrect

This is great work, well done. But take NY state, for instance. As of today, there have been 145,753 total tests conducted. Your plots report 7,493 total tests conducted per 100k NY residents. Some simple math, (145,753 * 100,000) / 7,493, puts the population of NY state at around 1.9M, when in reality, it should be around 19M. I believe the per 100k residents values you are reporting are actually per 1M residents.
