Nothing I do seems to make this work with AuthLDAP and ActiveDirectory. Any possibility of this working with AuthLDAP?

if you install this plug-ins through the management of the wiki, Toon is defective because the folder in which it will be created will be incorrect. should be groupusers and created cosmocode-groupusers-36f49e6 that matches the name of a folder in the archive to which reference is made by reference to https://github.com/cosmocode/groupusers/zipball/master.
If you rename the installation directory in groupuser everything works correctly.

Groups which are managed through the virtualgroup plugin (https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:virtualgroup) - which btw is maintained by the same author :-) - are not listed in the user table.

Since a few weeks, there are no more user links shown. Comparing files shows, that a portion of the render function is now different to the plugin's info page at https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:groupusers.

NOW:

$renderer->doc .= htmlspecialchars($user);

BEFORE:

$renderer->doc .= '<td>'; //[email protected] ergänzt
$renderer->internallink('user:'.$user); ////[email protected] Original: $renderer->doc .= '<td>'.htmlspecialchars($user).'</td>';
$renderer->doc .= '</td>'; //[email protected] ergänzt

Maybe there was a mixup, please fix.

Nach dem Update läßt Dokuwiki nur noch eine Verwendung je Seite zu, bei der 2. Verwendung auf der Seite bleibt die Tabelle leider leer.
