I am trying to write an api in flask, however , my vscode is not recognising the word jsonify

Returning javascript (application/javascript) is not the same as returning JSON (application/json) and the Content-Type should reflect this.

I just went through a tutorial which was mentioning flask-jsonpify to be included. Therefore I installed it using pip and added the line as described in your manual. Actually it does not work. Callback is:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "chinook_api.py", line 5, in <module>
    from flask.ext.jsonpify import jsonify
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'flask.ext'

There's no flask/ext/ directory, flask_jsonpify is directly installed under site-packges. Any hints to this?

it is stated that the license is BSD but here, the MIT license is displayed:
https://github.com/wcdolphin/flask-jsonpify/blob/master/LICENSE

So, is flash-jsonpify is MIT or BSD ? ;)

The example in the reStructuredText README (and the PyPI description) is not correct:

from flask.ext.jsonpify import jsonify

It should be:

from flask_jsonpify import jsonify

There are some useful changes since the latest release on PyPI (1.3).

These include the application/javascript fix (#3).
