I originally wanted to list team members from Denmark but they preferred to not be named individually but this was their recommended way of acknowledging the contribution.

Seeing this made me think... if it suits your goals, you can add a
"local contact" section and seed it with me, saying these people
aren't part of the project but can answer questions / assist in local
workshops. (of course with invitation for others to have themselves
added to this list). Actually, you could add the team members from
above to this list, sorted by country/city, so you can easily tell who
is nearby.

I would like to list you, mostly to acknowledge you, not to give you more work. It would be mostly to show that there is an existing and growing network. I have been pushing few changes directly but for those related to Aalto Science IT I will do via PRs and ask you for review before merging.

If I've agreed that Aalto will host workshops twice a year, listing me
as local contact should be the least that is expected - not required,
but it makes it look good. Maybe this would be better on the
"workshops" page.
To refine out more: "Team" page acknowledges who helps project (as opposed to
specific lessons who are acknowledged there). Then "workshops" page,
at bottom, has "local contacts" who know about workshops that can
happen in those specific places, coordinate them, invite them, and so
on. This will show that there is the start of an actual network
forming. (This should also list that Aalto intends to have them twice
a year, see http://science-it.aalto.fi/scip/).
I can also make a PR, but later tonight... if you all are editing,
just throw something in and can be revised later.
