Except for the login/signup pages and a header at the top, the demo is literally showing me a blank page only.

Most of the tests in the project are failing on Travis. I would appreciate your help fixing it.

Upgrading material-ui and material-icons to their latest stable versions is the goal of this issue.
Keep in mind that after upgrading ensure the application is not broken and client:test passes before submitting a pull request.

There are some packages/libraries used in the application that are not listed on the readme. Please ensure you separate them into dependencies and devDependencies.

There some beta packages of @babel that needs to be updated to the latest non-beta version. See packages below:
