HTML5 Audio Tutorial

v0.1.1

This is a tutorial on how audio works in an HTML5-compliant browser using only HTML—no JavaScript. It is assumed that the user has at least some rudimentary knowledge of HTML.

Set Up

The entire tutorial is contained in index.html, so, simply launch the file in a browser.

Credits for Third Party Assets

The fonts used in this tutorial are Open Sans for content, which is licensed under the Apache License (v2.0), and Inconsolata for source code, which is licensed under the SIL OFL. The Flash player is from MP3 Player and is licensed under both a Creative Commons License and a Mozilla Public License. The reset CSS document was authored by Eric Meyer and is in the public domain. The audio files were created by the author.
