tavernaiturbo's Issues

Update to Tavern 1.3

Even though Humi's code is an absolute mess, he still implemented some good features, especially CharaCloud and swipes. Would love to see your mod updated!

Response time

Hello.
Recently, the Spellbook's response time has dramatically lengthened. The tavern waits only 60 seconds, after which it issues an error. However, the Spellbook can sometimes give an answer after 2, 3, 5 minutes.

Is it possible to make the tavern's waiting time changeable?

Will you be updating it again?

Will you be updating it again? Although openai is officially supported, I still prefer your termux installation, it's really easy to use on a mobile phone. Or can you share how you did it? I use the official tavernai file and it shows a sharp error

Character duplication and possible explanation

Not sure if this is a bug in the main-line tavernai as well (I see a reference to 'malicious characters' but I'm not sure it's malicious, or the same bug, and I only use this fork). There is a bug involving characters overwriting other characters. I suspect it has to do with using arrow keys after having selected the character from the character menu. I suspect this because I've seen the character icon change while using the arrow keys to navigate through text fields, and the characters duplicated/autosaved over are always alphabetically adjacent. This also matches with character autosaving/live updating - but we're accidentally selecting different characters, from the character editing screen, using arrow keys.

For the time being, I would strongly recommend other users backup their character cards to avoid overwriting.

'SyntaxError: Invalid or unexpected token'

I've followed the directions to the best of my ability. The only difference being, instead of being able to use

'pkg update && pkg upgrade'

I use Ubuntu with my termux and had to use Sudo apt-get instead.

I tested with turning off my VNC server and made sure to kill the exact port of 8000 to remove any possibility that it was being taken up by my VNC viewer. I am sure I'm not the only one who's gone through this, but I can't tell if it's due to user error (me) or if this is an actual issue. I've attempted to reinstall and go through the whole process three times so far, making sure I reread the directions. As it stands, I still believe it's on my part. But from what I've seen. Nothing seems to work.
