I am requesting verification of existing groups. The group names are:

  • jcf

I’d like to verify oauth too, but I don’t have the Org on GitHub, so expect that won’t be possible?

Hello, I'm one of the owners of the nubank group. I tried to create a new project in the group and noticed there are new verification requirements. Since the group name doesn't fit the protocol of a reverse-domain name, I imagine we'll need to move to a group name that does, right?

In that case I'd like to create and verify the dev.nubank group.

Hello! I changed my GitHub handle a while back and I'm looking to update my Clojars username which is currently Lsdafjklsd.

🤦 so I actually created a new user with my desired username and added them as an admin to com.github.haywoood. So to simplify things if you could rename lsdafjklsd to just haywood that would be great.

Remove/block org.clojure artifacts

There are some old versions of Clojure that were uploaded to Clojars in the deep past. https://clojars.org/org.clojure/clojure

These artifacts all exist on Maven Central and those are the canonical signed artifacts someone should be downloading, not the ones from Clojars. Ideally, I think these should be removed, but it's hard for me to argue that that's urgent given they've been out there for years and I'm not really sure how many caches that would break.

But perhaps more importantly, I think that no one should be allowed to upload any new artifacts in the org.clojure group. I don't know if that means the core team needs to "claim" something or if this is a special case, so tell me what is best.

In light of recent changes regarding https://github.com/clojars/clojars-web/wiki/Verified-Group-Names, my Clojars user piotr-yuxuan is now left with a group piotr-yuxuan (the exact same string) which is not verified. Would you consider to verify existing groups with the same name to account for cross-platform identities?

Group verification: my own name

Hello 👋, thank you very much for the time you give, and for the great tools you've given to the community :-) I have read https://github.com/clojars/clojars-web/wiki/Verified-Group-Names and I gather that you want to enforce verified groups.

As a result, I am requesting verification of an existing group that I have been using for some time. The group name is my own username across different projects and platforms: piotr-yuxuan.

I currently use this group for different libraries:

  • piotr-yuxuan/closeable-map
  • piotr-yuxuan/ephemeral-server
  • piotr-yuxuan/gzip-util
  • piotr-yuxuan/slava

And I've stumbled upon errors for this new project, created today:

  • piotr-yuxuan/walter-ci

I understand that you might probably ask me to now use com.github.piotr-yuxuan, but this might break quite a few things on my side, and for the sake of consistency I would have to republish each and every of these libraries under that new group. In order to help with the verification, I commited this message:
