Hm. This doesn't happen to me on my Arch box, not sure if I can reproduce this.

Edit: tried it on my laptop too, no issues. Not sure why this is happening to you.

Just as a sanity check, what happens if you run something like lm-sensor on a loop?

Furthermore, can you try older versions (e.g. 0.6.x) and see if this issue is still there for you? We did change how things are obtained in 0.7.x if I remember correctly.

Alternatively, could you try using 0.8.0 with a higher refresh rate to see what happens?


What I can try to do (but I can't reproduce so this is just spitballing) is set a timeout/limit for previously detected sensors that go missing before removing them, if that's less jarring?

Just installed 0.8.0 using cargo, issue is gone. I guess the problem was the older version from copr.
