Installation / 安装方法

With Mod Manager / 使用Mod管理器

Simply open the mod manager (if you don't have it install it here), select They Come From Void by ckcz, then Download.

If prompted to download with dependencies, select Yes.

Then just click Start modded, and the game will run with the mod installed.

只需要简单的打开mod管理器(如果你还没安装可以点此安装,选择They Come From Void by ckcz,下载即可)。

Then download the mod manully and unzip into plugins (including the dll and dspbattletex file). If you can see the new logo, then the mod is installed successfully.

How to play / 如何游戏

They come when your first interstellar logistics station is placed. From then on, stronger and stronger waves will assault you about every 60 minutes. They will never stop. They will never end.

They may target any planet with an interstellar logistics station. Though the first few waves will be in one system and easily manageable, assuming it will stay that way will lead to demise. Luckily, notifications and after-battle reports will fill you in on where you need to focus your rebuilding efforts. More information on ai targeting, notifications, and other mechanics are available in-game.

They are going to be a challenge to EXPERIENCED players who have extensive knowledge of the game and a library of finely tuned production blueprints. Though different difficulty levels exist, even easy is not recommended for new players or experienced players that want a casual run.

So far, we haven't encountered any issues installing this mod mid-run. Want time to develop your foothold and prepare before you watch your galaxy burn? Great! Personal Opinion for users who want a casual start but a challenge late-game, I recommend installing the mod when you either make your first white science or your dyson sphere reaches 4GW.

Do not remove this mod once installed or you risk breaking your save.

Railgun replacement

the railguns of the base game cannot be replaced by the railguns of the mod, the same for the railguns of the mod, the single shot ejector cannot replace the super railguns (a system like in the bass game with the assemblers or smelters would be good).

Copy-Pasting phaser emitters

For some reason saving phaser emitters to a blueprint doesn't save their targeting priority on the newest version, can that be fixed? Also the targeting for missiles is really bad, they usually target enemies that are on the opposite side of the system instead of the ones about to damage my ILSs.

Also while I'm here, can the documentation here be updated? Everything here seems to be several versions old, so I can't see the new list of relics in the BattleProtos.cs file.

Add a "How to Play" or "Using the mod" section to this readme and the mod page?

It would be nice to add a section on "Using the Mod" for English
Especially because many options and features are not explained clearly in the English Translation. It was hard for me to enjoy this incredible mod at first. I only hope to make it easier for English users.

No pause button

There is no way to pause the invasion system. It would be great to be able to stop invasions from spawning.

Shield not visible while standing on planet

The shield visual effect disappears when you enter the radius of the shield. I understand this maybe intentional, but is there anyway to make it so the shield effect is always visible?

Issue with rail ejectors

when using rail ejectors to send solar sails into orbit it wont launch and instead just sit there and never shoot. So far ive only seen this error in saves that have started before the mod was installed.

after removing the rail ejectors the errors would stop but placing them back down would make them unable to fire again and errors would continue again.

NullReferenceException error preventing game from loading

I made certain to remove all other mods except for the bare minimum for Void, tried to fix by creating a vanilla save. Can't create a modded save with Void in it, as the game stops loading upon this error message appearing.

EDIT: I possibly overlooked version differences, as there was a patch yesterday (which is when this became an issue).

Missile silo malfunction

I have many mods installed and I get an error.
Even if I turn off everything but the VOIDMOD, I still get the error.
Some mods are not able to be turned off due to time acceleration in the reproduction environment
Sorry if the problem is my environment.
The error is not launching the missile.
Error count continues to increase while timing to fire.

performance isse and performance stastic

game slow down to 30 ms after i deploy droplet.
in the performance stastic there is a large chunck of performance under main logic is unlable.

droplet will consum a lot of performance even if they are not active.
as long as performance are in space fleet they will eat up performance .

Constant Wave without break

Is there a way to incress the gap between when one wave end and the next start? If not the can you add that as a config or tie it to the difficulty.

Returned ammunition is not proliferated, whereas the ammunition inside is already proliferated.

建议换掉等级奖励的降低采矿消耗项目。

这个奖励我玩起来感觉过于op,我用0.1倍资源开局结果到出白糖科技连母星系的矿都没挖完,这样失去了开低倍资源去到处找资源的乐趣。

因为这个奖励是放在等级里面,打怪升级后会自动强给,没法选择不要。建议能加个配置选项允许用户禁用掉这个奖励,或者换成仅提升采矿速度这种不太破坏平衡性的奖励。
