Searching or interacting with certain parcels cause the application to crash. This behavior happens across browsers (Firefox/Chrome/Safari) Some examples:

One hunch is it might be related to overlay parcels: where a land parcel also has overlying, but separate, improvement parcels (i.e. special acts parcels). But I can't find a consistent pattern in parcel attributes that would cause this.
Users want the ability to go back to the big map.
Is it possible to add subtle POI marks for parks and/or schools in your Mapbox basemap?
I’ve been adding both to OSM (and correcting the geometries supplied by DPR--these should be close to complete)
One recurrent issue we have is where multiple parcel IDs are associated with the same address/shape. I’m wondering if it’s possible tolink through to these related parcels in some way.
This is especially relevant for properties where there are abatements or TIFs—the assessor deals with these by “splitting” the parcel into a “frozen” parcel and an “abated” parcel.
Beginning today, I am seeing the following behavior when a Parcel Viewer window is loaded in MacOS:
No unusual memory/processor activity during these events.
Parcel Viewer is not displaying information for the following Parcel addresses:
6136 Pennsylvania
6126 Pennsylvania
6122 Pennsylvania
6038 Pennsylvania
Parcel Viewer error shows "We couldn't find information for this parcel: [Tax ID]"
Other parcel viewers (Regrid, BS&A) are showing all information.
Parcel on the northwest corner of E Lafayette and Mt. Elliot. This is the fire station location. The building located at the corner has the incorrect prefix. Parcel info states that it is W Lafayette address but that is incorrect. The building address should match the next door parking lot (the lot directly west of the fire station building) and read 3737 E Lafayette.
I cannot get the parcel viewer to do searches when I use it on my smartphone. I used google and Edge browsers on a Note 20 Ultra. I tried desktop and mobile views.
Hi City of Detroit team,
I'm a big fan of the parcel viewer and used it while choosing a first home to renovate as part of my sustainable housing practice, and I also organize a learn-to-code meetup called Detroit Code With Friends. Our members are interested in practicing their coding skills in a beginner-friendly environment, and also helping to serve their communities. I volunteered as a tech lead at a similar event called Code For Good in Western Michigan (Grand Rapids), and I'd love to have a small hackathon-for-good event here. I've also talked to some youth centers like Phoenix Project that have expressed an interest in mentoring programs for young people in the D gaining experience for a software career.
Would you be interested in co-organizing a small, one-day event with us? We could help work on any outstanding issues with parcel-viewer or other civic code projects, or match up programming teams with churches, neighborhood associations, and non-profits, especially those related to affordable housing. Let us know if that sounds like an interesting conversation.
Best, Paul
Could the assessor’s “floor area” field be exposed? This is a critical measure of property valuation.
Huge fan of this app - thanks so much for creating it! I use it several times per week.
I would love if it were possible to filter/highlight lots based on substring matching of their owner. I frequently find myself wondering what lots the {DLBA, PD&D, local development association} owns in a specific neighborhood, but doing so right now involves a ton of manually clicking through the lots.
Any idea how hard this would be?
I thought this was working, but there may be a minzoom
here that's affecting whether this gets displayed or not.
Hi,
Thanks for your project it seems to be very usefull. I would test with github page and it's doesn't work.
I reviews your code and it's seems to be your a API version issue (I think I'm not coder); currently it's V4.
Have you schedule to upgrade ?
thanks in advance
