Support for Cider 1.0 is in a reduced state. Do not expect replies or acknowledgement for issues that do not break full functionality of the app (Media playback, plugin functionality etc.).

I am also experiencing this issue with version 1.6.2 (Debian Sid)
Mine's also the flatpak version, but it seems common regardless of the source

Had the same issue with flatpack version of Cider.
Installed Flatseal and gave Cider access to all devices in the device setting and was able to authenticate using Yubikey.
