The plan is to have ordered checkpoints all over the track that can be used to calculate distance left to travel on the track. The player with the least distance left to travel and most laps gets ranked
#1.

A system will need to be designed to trigger when a player overtakes another player.

Re-design the Kart controller using Roblox's thrust functionality rather than part velocity.

Once this is achieved, implement a method for drifting.
