Description

Unreal Engine can be used to implement a Digital Twin representation of the environment of choice, and could integrate with the data back-end to display real-time data.

Integrations

Seeing as UE can take advantage of either "conventional" http or websocket clients, in addition to full integration with the AWS C++ SDK, integration should be possible for:

• AWS (using AWS C++ SDK)
• Any other HTTP backend

Features

Platforms

The digital twin could potentially be packaged for all platforms. However, for ease, the default (and initially supported) platforms would likely be limited to Windows. Theoretically, however, there should be no significant reason to not also create distributions for MacOS and/or Linux as well.

Functionality

• Configurable 3D model of environment of choice
• Configurable sensor locations in relation to actual model/environment
• HTTP/Socket/MQTT integration with relevant backend service

Description

There is potential for a Discord bot that can facilitate real-time queries to the back-end.

The bot could enable:

• Real-time webhook updates with weather alerts (or similar alerts)
• In-server slash (/) commands to get current/real-time data
• Any other cool features

Leveraging the power of Tauri, a cross-platform application could be created.

This could be integrated into the web frontend application.

To help with keeping everything standardized, PR and Issue templates should be setup for all the PIH-related repos to ensure consistency. Additionally, integration with any automation features on GitHub could be cool.

Similar to the Discord Bot, a telegram bot could facilitate real-time commands and or updates.

The telegram bot is something that will have to be investigated, as could end up not providing extra features over the Discord Bot or Tauri app

Description

A standard for semantic release and commit structure should be investigated and established. This would help with following industry best practices in managing and releasing software.
