Requirements
- Raspberry Pi + Camera Module
- imagemagick (
sudo apt-get install imagemagick
)
Steps
- Clone this repo on your Raspberry (
git clone https://github.com/christian-fei/raspberry-pi-time-lapse.git
) - Enable Camera via
raspi-config
(in "Interfacing Options") - Add contents of the file
crontab
to your cron schedule viacrontab -e
- Generate a time-lapse with e.g.
./create-time-lapse 2020-09-01
Optionally, to speed up time-lapse creation on your PC
- Clone this repo on your PC
cp config.example.sh config.sh
and set up PI_USER and PI_HOST- Sync snapshots with
./rsync-snapshots
- Generate a time-lapse with e.g.
./create-time-lapse 2020-09-01
