Flickr

An iPhone app that let you search for random images based on the user text phrase or the location coordinates.

Requirements

  • Device running macOS(MacBook or iMac)
  • Xcode

How to Run

  • Clone or Download this repository.
  • Open the project folder in xcode.
  • Register on Flickr and get your Flickr API key.
  • Replace FLICKR_API_KEY_HERE text in FlickrParameterValues in Constants.swift file by your api key.
  • Run the project using the play button on top left corner of xcode as you can see below in the screenshot. uploadImage

  • Basics of networking
  • Sending and Receiving data over the network
  • Making and chaining multiple Asynchronous request, parsing the data and updating UI
  • Using Web services and API to search for data based on user input
