chiptune / jswm Goto Github PK

So I was looking to build a new personal website with a similar vein of interactivity as chiptune.com, and I found this. I played with the demo, and it looks pretty good! But I tried to start using it, and ran into some problems.

It seems the repo is out of date with the live demo, as the version in the repo suffers from several bugs, like only one instance of JSWM working, none of the example windows showing up (aside from the debug window), and being unable to make newly-defined windows or icons appear. It is also missing some files: jslint.js, liquid_kidz.ttf, and luftwaffe.ttf are loaded in index.html but are not in the repo.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any documentation on using JSWM. The main file, jswm.js, is completely undocumented and uncommented, so I have no idea how to get the most out of it, extend it (like adding menus), or modify the look and feel (like the glyphs or the colors). I understand that things are as compact as they are to reduce the file size and thus make it load faster, but a guide would be useful.
