raylib.jl's Issues

Test out joysticks on Linux

We now have a simple example of using Joysticks with Raylib added in #27. It works fine on Windows. However, when I test it on Linux, it doesn't work.

The program can detect the joystick correctly, but failed to detect any button press. It is an issue of missing gamepad mapping and can be solved by calling Raylib.SetGamepadMappings manually with the mapping found on the db. So the problem would be either I'm using an rare joystick or we didn't build the raylib_jll correctly so the mapping is missing on Linux.

We would need someone to test out joysticks on Linux to make sure it's not a problem of the jll.

Support for Windows?

This is a very promising package, but it doesn't work on Windows.

I tried to run the core/basic_window.jl example and got the following error:

UndefVarError: libraylib not defined

I'm assuming Raylib_jll is not available for windows, do you plan to support this package on Windows too?

TagBot trigger issue

This issue is used to trigger TagBot; feel free to unsubscribe.

If you haven't already, you should update your TagBot.yml to include issue comment triggers.
Please see this post on Discourse for instructions and more details.

If you'd like for me to do this for you, comment TagBot fix on this issue.
I'll open a PR within a few hours, please be patient!

Difference in enum behavior for Keys vs MouseButtons

This is more of a question than an issue.

Why does the MouseButton enum require casting to an Int for typical usage while the KyeboardKey enum does not?

See for example the difference between the useage of the bare Raylib.KEY_R on line 245 here with the Integer cast on Raylib.MOUSE_BUTTON_LEFT required in this example on line 19.

I ran into this difference while working through the Raylib examples myself without reference to the Julia implementations provided here. I got through the first several on intuition and reference to the API in the Raylib.jl docs but was stymied by the need for casting this integer that wasn't there for keypresses. I only discovered the answer while investigating the worked Julia examples.
