On some sites, the add-on doesn't actually do anything. For example, the music player on https://modarchive.org/ (using chiptune2.js) always plays at the same volume, no matter what I set via the add-on.

On other sites, videos play normally. But the moment you click on the add-on's icon in the toolbar, the video suddenly gets muted (and then stays like this forever). 9gag.com would be an example of that.

This also happens with the alternative add-ons (600% sound volume, better volume boost, etc.), so maybe it's a problem with the functions or API used rather than the add-on itself. But thought I should mention it.

Recently, i've been unable to watch videos from Twitter/X/Tiktok/Etc, and what's happening is that this addon has now muted every single website that has videos, excluding YouTube videos, which play just perfectly and unmuted.

Either the person behind this is favoriting YouTube way more now, or something went awry with the recent May 29th update.

However for some reason all the clips on clips.twitch.tv are muted as long as the addon is active. Tested by opening them in incognito mode and disallowing the addon there.
Any fix or workaround for this without having to use incognito mode or 2nd browser?

For some reason, this extension does nothing.

localhost or 127.0.0.1 are not valid for the blacklist.

This forces me to disable the extension when working front-end on a dev server (don't want my markup modified there).

Issue: all shaders on https://www.shadertoy.com/ fails to load. Disabling this addon causes them to load.

I have been having some issues with the plugin for Firefox for some time. It wouldn't increase the volume on Disney+ and the video player from Prime Video says that the video is unavailable and HBO Max also gives me an error (Something Went Wrong
If you contact us about this error, please include the following code: 9df35d00-cbe9-4430-f4ee-f09f1c774168). The long code changes when I reload the site. If I turned the plugin off the players worked again. I have reverted to the manifest V2 version and that works fine on all the sites I tested except Disney+ where the volume doesn't increase either.

I have turned of all other plugins I have running and if only Volume Control (Manifest V3) is running I get the issues. Firefox is up-to-date.

No volume increase V3 and V2 (so probably another issue)
Disney+
