Hi, I'm new to cucumber (this may be the issue). And at the same time, I notice that my installed version, Cucumber 4.0.0, is a very fresh release (so this might be the issue too).

So, just checking, but is this project's README still valid for Cucumber v4? With a cucumber.js of:

var compileWithCoffee = "--require-module coffeescript/register --require features/**/*.coffee",
    coffeeSnippets = "--snippet-syntax ./node_modules/cucumber-snippets-coffee-script";

module.exports = {
  default: [ compileWithCoffee, coffeeSnippets ].join(" ")
};

I have the following experience:

$ node_modules/.bin/cucumber-js

  error: unknown option `--snippet-syntax'

I also tried setting --format-options '{"snippetSyntax":"./node_modules/cucumber-snippets-coffee-script"}' instead but then this project started throwing TypeErrors.

For confidentiality reasons I can't paste the error stacktrace, but I can tell you it's calling 'length' on an undefined value at node_modules/cucumber-snippets-coffee-script/index.js:4:47.
