What's On is a simple Android app developed for paper COMP548. It is mainly to demonstrate the basics of google map, location service and much more.

This App is used to search nearby events.

• show nearby events at a certain radius
• click markers and show event information
• search settings: radius
• show direction and route to go there

• current location: fetch current location at realtime
• Google Maps: markers, routes
• use location for calculation: compute walking time and draw directions
• request Location permission at installation and runtime
• API Key
• UI: Translucent status bar, transparent action bar, Bottom Sheet, Bottom Sheet dialog
• Other API: Preference API

• SDK API 25, minimum SDK 24
• Tested on Google Pixel
