Hi,

I am a newbie and using this module with success. Kudos to you for creating this wonderful plugin.. thumbs up!

This is more like a feature request perhaps. Can we have this plugin create a new user in Chamilo based on the actual email ID itself rather than creating a new ID? Ex:

Now it is creating the user as rdbgl67 if the email ID is [email protected]. My request is can this plugin create the user name as '[email protected]' itself.

Can you pls see if this can be done? Can you pls revert? This would help in mobile login to the LMS easily. Remembering multiple ids is not desired by many students. thanks.

This is really a detail, but in the license.txt file, I'm reading:

You should have received a copy of the GNU General Public License along with this program. If not, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/.

I don't think a copy of the GPL is delivered along with this code.
Furthermore, what GPL-version is it distributed under? I'm assuming GPL v3+ (like Chamilo) but I'm not certain as Prestashop has its owns different license.

Is this module working with Prestashop 1.7? Can you pls confirm?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installing a new prestashop Version 1.4.8.2
2. Installing the module in Version 1.2
3. Install shows upload sucessful

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After that I think I should see the overview of all modules. Instead I see 
nothing, no modules where shown.


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Prestashop 1.4.8.2
Prestashop-chamilo V1.2
Dokeos 1.8.8.4 (should not matter, Module isn´t configured)



Please provide any additional information below.
When I delete the Module using ftp, I can open the Module Overview and see all 
installed Module. Once more installed the module, same Problem

Hi,

after installing the addon in PS, I tried setting the configuration variables. For encryption method, I can choose between md5 and sha1 ... Chamilo currently uses the (superior) bcrypt. Is it possible that the addon doesn't know how to handle this yet?

In the file prestochamilo.php on line 396, there is only to choose between md5 and sha1.
For bcrypt, you can get the hash with this command:
$password = password_hash($password, PASSWORD_DEFAULT);

Only adding this item doesn't solve the issue. I'm assuming there are more hooks directly going to sha1 that should be flexible too...

Hi,

What is required if I want to add a language not already present in the addon? I'll add Dutch (NL)
Here's what I see:

• a new folder in the directory mail/nl/ with the 4 files to be translated
• a language file nl.php in the root with all strings translated (I started from the French version)

Is there more to be done?

I'm using a Chamilo 1.9.6 and Prestashop 1.5. and the plugin version 1.3

I install the pluguin correctly, in the module of prestashop I can see the 
courses of Chamilo.

When I buy a course I recieve an email with login/pass for chamilo. This works 
well. But the new user is not added into the course.

I'm using an spanish version of chamilo and prestashop. I change the atribute: 
'language'        to       => 'spanish',     (originally is english) on 
chamilo.php line 307. I do this because if the user is created with english 
language, the initial page, after the login is diferent.

What I'm doing wrong? Please can you help me? Thanks!

I figured out that by going backwards to prestashop_1.4.6.2 that I could get 
the plugin to install and get past the hangup on the modules. 

The user is created in Chamilo after purchasing in prestashop, but not added to 
the course.  Using Chamilo 1.9.0  I tried updating the script for 1.8.7 
http://classic.chamilo.googlecode.com/hg/main/webservices/registration.soap.php?
r=8825fd4b339430381ec3aa7db02aced0a83ad6c2

but that didn't seem to take care of it.  Apparently the upgrade to 1.9.0 is a 
problem for the plugin?

My biggest concern about using the plugin is that if it isn't being maintained, 
I don't want to get stuck with deprecated versions of the two programs its 
linking.

Hallo,

I´ve a question about the features of the plugin. Is it possible to sell the 
same course with different durations (for example 1 month; 1 year) and chamilo 
will automatically set the course subscription length?

i integrated prestashop chamilo and i installed chamilo module in prestashop and the link are connected correctly and i got the course list and i added the courses in prestashop for selling when i buy a course and after that i go to the orders page and change the status to payment accepted i am receiving all the mail except the chamilo login id details. when first time i was buying a course i receive the mail from chamilo with username and password but after that i buy a course i receive all mails except chamilo login details can anyone help me with this please
