Include offset in part 10 files to:

• ? Start of preamble (byte 0)
• ? Start of meta information (byte 132)
• Start of DICOM dataset (offset of first element with group greater than 0002)

Include offset to encapsulated data and include supporting data (similar to what's done with pixel data) for:

• Encapsulated Document Module
  • Encapsulated Document (0042,0011)
  • MIME Type (0042,0012)
  • List of Mime Types (0042,0014)
  • Encapsulated Document Length (0042,0015)
    This is the main one -- I think people may want to be able to use DICOMweb rendering to see this content directly as CDA, EPS, STL, or OBJ.

Other elements that might be useful for direct access are:

• Icon Image Sequence
• SR Document Content Module
  • Content Sequence (0040,A730)
  • supporting data? PS 3.3, section C.17.3
• Raw Data Module?
• Waveforms?
• Overlays?
• ICC profiles?
• Surfaces?

We have direct access to float and double pixel data?
