Black Screen is a modern terminal emulator (and partially a shell) based on Electron. As opposed to most of the terminal emulators, it exploits the capabilities of contemporary interfaces.

Note: Only OS X is currently supported, but we plan to make Black Screen work on all the major platforms. Though it also works on Linux, it isn't supported yet.

Warning: Black Screen is still in its beta phase and isn't completely ready for day-to-day usage.

cd black-screen
npm install

npm start

To create a standalone application, run:

npm run package

• Install selenium-standalone
• selenium-standalone start
• npm run test
