Multistrap Helpers

These scripts are intended to create a Debian rootfs from scratch. You can later use it for creating an LXC container and later (or immediately, without creating an LXC container) create a real installation.

Clone this repo recursively:

git clone --recursive https://github.com/ceremcem/multistrap-helpers

Create the rootfs:
```
root@host:# ./create-rootfs.sh buster.config
```
You can use the ./rootfs.buster as an LXC container rootfs or real installation.
Create a fully bootable distro/installation:
1. Follow the instructions: ./install-to-disk.

Dependencies

"reboot" and "shutdown" commands are missing

Apparently there is no candidate for "upstart" package.

cryptsetup: WARNING: could not determine root device from /etc/fstab

This warning is raised when update-initramfs -u command is issued. This possibly causes the "no password prompt on initramfs stage" error.

dpkg: delaying package configuration: apt-utils is not installed

Add Tmux by default

Replace with appropriate interface names in:

/etc/network/interfaces
/etc/network/lxc-nat-setup.sh

install systemd to the base system

Needed by apt-get install sudo

Missing /sbin/init for bootable systems

apt-get install systemd
ln -s /lib/systemd/systemd /sbin/init

crudini creates whitespace around "="

Set PATH variable accordingly

Probably by cp /etc/skel/.bashrc ~/.bashrc
