Breaktivity

This app was written for the React Native Boston meetup to give an overview of what its like to get started building an app in React Native. As such, consider this as a real world starting point. It's not ready for primetime just yet.

Current Issues

This only works while the app is open right now
There is some jumpiness when adjusting the sliders

Future Plans

Bring iOS up to parity with android code
Save work / break stats
Ask the user for feedback on the cycle: 😀 / 😐 / 😢 / 😠
Improve the movement detection
Improve the design
Release to the app stores

Look into slider jumpiness

May need to debounce redux-persist

Use local notifications so this works when the device is locked

Right now, we require the app stays open. That's not ideal. If someone locks the screen, the javascript thread sleeps and we dont increment time.

Local notifications would give a way to at least notify the user when work / breaks occur

Improve the movement detection

It's not good yet, just requires picking up the phone and tilting it around a bunch.
